The Formation Halifax Outback Climbing Club (FHOCC) is located in the Fleet Fitness and Sports Centre, inside the CFB Halifax Dockyards. The club has scheduled climbing nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6 - 9 pm, with instruction available by a supervisor. Drop in fee is $5.00 per person to come and check us out, with annual memberships available options available. Some equipment (shoes, harnesses, chalk, etc) is available if you want to come and try climbing. The wall has 9 routes, 3 of which are leadable. There is also a rappel station, and one of the routes has IceHoldz for drytooling. Membership is open to military members, their families, retirees, DND and NPF employees and civilians. Please contact the president, Brent Cullen, at 902-427-5268 for more information to ensure visitor access at the gate.
SEVEN BAYS BOULDERING is a 6000 sq ft facility on Gottingen st. that hosts a 120 ft long bouldering wall and a licensed café with plenty of comfortable seating.
Seven Bays Bayers Lake is the newest Seven Bays location. It is a gathering spot for those who are passionate about rock climbing, whether they are long-time climbers or newly initiatied! We offer a carefully curated bouldering experience and training facilities.
